Order Resetting Retail Energy Markets and Establishing Further Process

In this Order, the Commission applies its experience and insight obtained through monitoring and regulation of retail energy markets, as well as information in the record on the above-captioned dockets, and takes action to immediately address the unfair business practices currently found in the energy services industry and to ensure residential and small nonresidential commercial customers (mass market customers) are receiving value from the retail energy markets.

Technical Conference - May 31, 2016

The Department of Public Service staff convened a technical conference on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, to discuss three Whitepapers issued in the May 4, 2016 proceedings. By Notice issued on that date, interested parties were invited to submit comments on the Whitepapers by June 6, 2016 for initial comments and June 20, 2016 for reply comments. Staff were available at this conference to discuss the Whitepapers and to answer questions from interested parties regarding their content, in order to assist the parties in preparing their comments.

March 18, 2016 - The meeting scheduled on this case was postponed.
