Case Information

Case 95-E-0008 – Petition of Waterside Redevelopment Company L.P. to submeter electricity at Waterside Plaza, New York City, located in the Territory of Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., filed in C 26998.

Case 95-E-0011 - Petition of North Waterside Redevelopment Company L.P. to submeter electricity at North Waterside Plaza, New York City, located in the Territory of Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., filed in C 26998.

Comments are requested concerning a July 27, 2023 petition filed by Waterside Propco LLC (Waterside) seeking Public Service Commission (Commission) approval to modify the permissible monthly sub-metered electric rates for the tenants in two buildings located at 30 Waterside Plaza and 40 Waterside Plaza, New York, New York. Waterside seeks approval to commence charging tenants at direct-metered residential rates, Service Class 1 (SC-1), under Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.’s Commission-approved tariff, instead of the current bulk sub-metered rates (SC-12) that tenants are currently paying. Waterside’s proposal will increase tenants’ sub-metered electric rates by approximately 40 percent.
