Case 17-F-0282 - Application of Alle-Catt Wind Energy LLC for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need Pursuant to Article 10 for a Proposed Wind Energy Project, Located in Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Wyoming Counties, New York, in the Towns of Arcade, Centerville, Farmersville, Freedom, and Rushford.

By petition filed on January 29, 2026, and supplemented on March 3, 2026 (January Amendment Petition), Alle-Catt Wind Energy, LLC (Alle-Catt) seeks approval to amend its Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need (Certificate). The Certificate was originally issued on June 3, 2020, by the New York State Board on Electric Generation Siting and the Environment (Siting Board). On November 28, 2023, the Siting Board approved, with conditions, an amendment to the Certificate. If the January Amendment Petition is approved, Alle-Catt would be allowed to remove the requirement to model long-term annual equivalent continuous nighttime sound contained in Certificate Condition 68(d)(vi).
