Case 17-G-0011 - In the Matter of a Review of Tariff Provisions Regarding Natural Gas Service to Electric Generators.

In its Order Directing Modifications to Tariff Provisions Applicable to Electric Generators, issued October 17, 2025, in the above-captioned proceeding, the Public Service Commission adopted a new rate structure and associated provisions for interruptible gas transportation service to electric generators and directed Department of Public Service staff to hold a technical conference. The purpose of the conference is to explore the technical aspects and appropriate rate treatment of providing electric generators a minimal level of firm service for ignition gas while providing the same generators with interruptible transportation service for their remaining requirements.
