Future Grid: Tech conference on the Grid of the Future proceeding

Staff will convene a technical conference, via WebEx, on September 27, 2024. The technical conference will start at 2:00 p.m. EDT and will conclude by 3:30 p.m. EDT. The purpose of this technical conference is to provide an overview of the modeling approach and key study assumptions in the Grid Flexibility Study (Study) that will be prepared by the Brattle Group and DNV in consultation with Staff. The Study will estimate the potential for deploying and utilizing flexible distributed resources across New York’s electric grid in 2030 and 2040, and will address barriers to achieving that potential. Time will be reserved to answer questions from meeting attendees on the presented material.
